Empower Yourself During Times of Uncertainty

Change and uncertainty can throw us off our game. When everything is unknown and in a state of flux, our minds tend to shift into hyperdrive to evaluate "what if" scenarios in an attempt to rebalance and stabilize an uncertain future.

To empower yourself during times of uncertainty, it's important to remain open to receiving the information that's around you. Here are five steps you can take to empower yourself now:

  1. Be present. When you focus on the past and the future, instead of being present, you miss what's right in front of you. When your mind is everywhere, your energy scatters and helpful information that presents itself, may be overlooked or ignored. So best to stay present with a clear mind and a ready heart. To do this, place your hand on your heart and breathe deep several times and say aloud: BE PRESENT.

  2. Stay centered. Being centered means moving out of your head and into your heart. When you are centered in your heart, the ego/mind can't lead, thoughts don't scatter, and old fear tapes can't be accessed and replayed over and over.

To center, place your hand on your heart and breathe deep several times and say aloud: Center. Your body will center, balance, align, attune, attenuate and recalibrate with the spoken word. For those who feel energy, you'll notice shifts taking place immediately, and you'll feel better centered.

  1. Detach from everything. When you detach, you disengage your energy from everything around you. Imagine being on all the time - sensing, seeing, hearing, thinking about a million stimuli around you. It's exhausting! When you detach from everything, your body resets and focuses on only what is needed, saving precious energy and bandwidth.

Remember, the Law of Attraction says: What we focus on is what we create. So, detach from everything regularly. To do this, say aloud: Detach. Doing so, breaks the energy connection so you can "see" clearly with an open heart and an open mind.

  1. Use contrast to create the life you want. Contrast shows up when we have to make a choice in life (yes/no, want/don't want). Most people don't appreciate contrasters and the changes they bring. Generally, they use curse words to describe these situations. But contrast has a purpose in our lives: It helps us innerstand what's operating in our field; and knowing that, we can change the dynamics, if we choose to step into our power.

Through contrasters, we learn what we react to, dislike, and don't want in our lives. Conversely, contrast can also help us clarify what we do want and like. Whether we want to add or remove something from our lives, contrasters compel us towards change: we can live with a situation or we can change it.

The key is to take advantage of the insights these situations provide. To do this, identify what you want and don't want, then step into your power and change it. To remove what you don't want, use phrases like No, or I Do Not Consent to X. To introduce something into your life, say Yes, I Consent to X. Always be careful of what you consent to and be clear on the desired outcome.

Some contrast situations are literally patterns that repeat over and over. Other patterns are the result of distortions caused by hexes, spells, and/or curses that should be removed. To identify and clear patterns, I offer sessions and workshops that help you release these so you can create the life you want.

  2. Share Love and Gratitude each day. Masaru Emoto, a Japanese researcher discovered that love and gratitude are two of the highest frequencies we can ever express to each other. When spoken together, love and gratitude create the most glorious crystal formations that evoke the majesty, potential, and beauty of our world. To imbue my life with these frequencies, and insert more love into my world, I say LOVE AND GRATITUDE to myself or aloud as needed. Then I let this pairing work their magic. And you can too. It's as simple as that.

I truly agree with the contraster concept. It took me a very long time time to see them the way I do now. They have a purpose and that is to help us pay attention and gracefully release the energy we have been holding on to.

Thanks for the article, Lori 🌻
